Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your RizzAgent AI account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains the two ways to request deletion and what happens to your data afterwards.

1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the RizzAgent AI app:

  1. Open the app on your iPhone
  2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right)
  3. Tap the Settings icon (top right of the profile screen)
  4. Scroll to Account → Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

The deletion request is processed immediately. Your account becomes inaccessible the moment you confirm.

2. Email request (if you can't access the app)

If you no longer have access to the app — for example, because you uninstalled it, lost your device, or can't sign in — you can request deletion by email:

  • Email: privacy@rizzrealtime.com
  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include in the body: the email address associated with your account, and the approximate date you created the account (if known)

We verify ownership by sending a confirmation email to the address on file. Once verified, deletion is processed within 7 business days. You will receive a final confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

3. What we delete

When you request deletion, the following personal data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Account information: email address, display name, password hash, profile photo
  • Profile and preferences: coach personality, language, onboarding selections
  • Connections: any names, photos, or notes you added about real-life connections in the Connections tab
  • Practice sessions: avatar conversation history, scores, skill pentagons, and any session recordings you uploaded
  • Coach call history: intro call records, coach chat sessions, and any saved tips
  • Earbud session data: approach-mode session timestamps and durations
  • Analytics identifiers: device identifiers used for product analytics (Mixpanel) and attribution (Apple Search Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads)
  • Subscription records: RevenueCat customer entries linked to your account

4. What we may retain (and why)

A small amount of data is retained after deletion, in anonymized or legally required form:

  • Aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics: such as "total practice sessions per week" — used for product analytics. This data cannot be linked back to you.
  • Tax and invoicing records: if you completed any paid purchase, Portuguese law requires us to keep transactional invoices for up to 10 years (Decreto-Lei 28/2019). These records contain only the information required by tax authorities and are not used for any other purpose.
  • Abuse-prevention identifiers: in rare cases where an account was banned for terms-of-service violations, we may retain a hashed identifier (not your email or name) to prevent the same banned user from creating a new account.

5. Third-party services

When you delete your account, we also delete data held on our behalf by the following third-party processors:

  • Supabase — primary database for account data, profiles, connections, and sessions
  • RevenueCat — subscription management (we delete the linked customer record)
  • Mixpanel — product analytics (we send a delete-user API call for your distinct ID)
  • Tavus — AI avatar processing (conversation video streams are processed in real-time and not retained beyond each session, so there is nothing to delete after the session ends)
  • Cartesia and ElevenLabs — text-to-speech voice synthesis (no per-user data retained)
  • Deepgram — speech-to-text (streamed in real-time, no per-user data retained)
  • LiveKit — real-time audio infrastructure (no per-user data retained)
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — purchase history is managed by Apple/Google according to their policies. We delete our copies; theirs remain under their control.
  • Meta (Facebook), TikTok, Google Ads — advertising attribution data. We send a delete-user signal for your advertising identifier so future ad attribution cannot be linked to you. These platforms retain aggregate, anonymized campaign performance data on their own servers.

6. Deleting data held by ad platforms (independent of us)

You can independently request that Meta, TikTok, Google, and Apple delete advertising identifiers linked to you, regardless of any action you take inside our app:

  • Apple: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Data & Privacy
  • Google: https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy

7. Timeline

From the moment we receive a deletion request:

  • Immediate: account access is revoked; you can no longer sign in
  • Within 7 days: all personal data is purged from our primary database and from third-party processors that store identifiable data on our behalf
  • Within 30 days: backups are rotated out and no copy of your personal data remains in any restorable form

8. Your other rights

In addition to deletion, depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Export a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain uses (e.g. analytics, marketing)
  • Withdraw consent for processing based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@rizzrealtime.com. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR and CCPA.
