Setting Up Your Account
After downloading RizzAgent AI from the App Store:
- Open the app and tap "Get Started"
- Create an account using your email or Sign in with Apple
- Choose your preferred conversation style (Playful, Sincere, Bold, or Balanced)
- Grant the necessary permissions when prompted (microphone, camera, location)
Understanding the Three Modes
Situational Opener: Point your camera at your surroundings (discreetly!) and tap "Generate" to get context-aware conversation starters. The app analyzes visual context like books, coffee cups, or activity to suggest relevant openers.
Earbud Mode: Connect your AirPods or earbuds, tap "Start Listening," and the app will analyze your conversation in real-time. You'll receive brief 2-3 word prompts to help guide the conversation naturally.
Practice Sandbox: Select a personality type (Playful, Sincere, or Bold) and practice conversations with an AI partner. Get real-time coaching feedback on your responses.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my conversation being recorded?
No. RizzAgent AI processes audio in real-time to generate prompts but does not record, store, or transmit your actual conversations. All processing happens in the moment and is immediately discarded.
Does the app work offline?
The Practice Sandbox and some Opener features require an internet connection for AI processing. Basic app functionality is available offline, but real-time AI features need connectivity.
Why does the app need microphone access?
Earbud Mode requires microphone access to analyze conversation context and provide relevant prompts. You can use other features without microphone access if you prefer.
Why does the app need camera access?
The Situational Opener feature uses camera context to understand your environment (coffee shop, gym, bookstore, etc.) and generate relevant conversation starters. Camera access is optional.
Why does the app need location access?
Location helps the app understand context (morning coffee shop vs. evening bar) to provide more relevant suggestions. Location access is optional and is never stored or tracked.
How do I use Earbud Mode discreetly?
The app is designed for stealth use. Keep your phone in your pocket while wearing one earbud. The app's dark UI and low brightness minimize screen visibility. Prompts are delivered as brief audio or haptic cues.
What AI powers the suggestions?
RizzAgent AI uses advanced language models (including Claude by Anthropic) to generate context-aware suggestions. The AI is trained to provide natural, non-cheesy conversation starters and prompts.
Is it ethical to use AI assistance in conversations?
RizzAgent AI is designed as a confidence-building tool, similar to how someone might mentally prepare conversation topics beforehand. We encourage users to be authentic and transparent. The app helps you express yourself better, not become someone you're not.
Troubleshooting
Earbud Mode isn't detecting my voice
Make sure you've granted microphone permission in Settings → RizzAgent AI → Microphone. Check that your earbuds are connected and the microphone isn't muted. Try restarting the app.
The app is using too much battery
Earbud Mode uses continuous audio processing which can impact battery life. For extended use, ensure your phone is charged. You can also adjust the processing sensitivity in Settings.
Suggestions aren't relevant to my situation
Make sure location and camera permissions are enabled for better context awareness. The AI improves with use, so providing feedback on suggestions helps tailor future responses.
The app crashed or is unresponsive
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app. Make sure your iOS version is up to date (iOS 19.0 or later required).
I'm not receiving prompts in Earbud Mode
Prompts are generated based on conversation context. Make sure there's active conversation happening. Check that your earbuds are connected and audio is not muted. Try adjusting the prompt sensitivity in Settings.
Account & Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → RizzAgent AI → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are processed by Apple, not directly by RizzAgent AI. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the RizzAgent AI purchase, and select "Request a Refund."
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or email us at privacy@rizzrealtime.com with your request.
Can I use RizzAgent AI on multiple devices?
Yes, your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Sign in with the same Apple ID on any compatible device to access your premium features.
